A Complete Inadequate Use of my Final Day, Yet a Brilliant Way to Busy my Ears

I´m leaving Granada in approximately 10 hours and 48 minutes. So how will I use this time? Writing on my blog that I´ve neglected for the last four and a half months. I suppose this could be a wonderful, summing up of the incredible experience I´ve had these last four months. Or it could be what has currently hijacked my mind for the last 24 hours, but been grabbing for the steering wheel for about two weeks now.

It´s pretty amazing that a material substance (I suppose, but I think I could also put up an argument against that) can so thoroughly possess me even though today is a very important and very emotional day in my life.

www.youtube.com Keyword: Andrew Bird. "Nervous Tic Motion of the Head to the Left" is a brilliant place to start.

I have three songs by this genius that I got off of freeindie.com about a year ago, and have had occasional plays on itunes until about two weeks ago. Enter in the daily playing, slowly increasing to multiple daily doses. Jump to about three days ago. Begin listening to these three songs repeatedly for at least an hour at a time. Change it up a bit by listening to any given one on repeat for an hour individually. December 19, that is to say yesterday, commence the youtube stalking and there´s no going back.

This guy was classically trained in violin, graduated college with a degree in violin performance, but now plays some sort of heavenly combination of violin, guitar, glockenspiel, singing, whistling (I don´t think I´ve ever heard more talented whistling), and does ingenius looping of it all together. He´s not a one man band, he´s the whole one man orchestra.

And he´s plenty attractive as well, even though he´s a solid 14 years older than myself, but that´s not important in proclaiming a talented musician attractive. See picture above. He looks very Spanish, but without the hideous mohawk/mullet combination. And he looks way too tall, but lo, that is so often an illusion. Perhaps it´s the brightly painted wall background that looks so español, but without a doubt the European scarf adds to the image.

Sometimes I must just spout this flow out somewhere, and blessed Swakt lbcR is finally getting a taste of this. I know this is perhaps not the best time and place for this, which is why I will now come to an end to go spend my remaining time more wisely. This dear blog knows as well as I do that in a few days when I find myself in the land of green once again and once I get my feet under me, more words will be spilt. And I feel as though the name Andrew Bird may be as well.

And here I was coming to yell at you for not ever updating while you were in spain, which was the whole plan . . . And lo and behold you did it, on the very last day mind you but very good. I particularly like the comment about his attractiveness I am not gunna lie I was kinda skimming and then like bang ohmygosh attractive yea . . .lets get a reading . . . anyway, yea I am not sure if he is tall or not but it is good he doesn't do the mohawk mullet thingie. ANyway . . . blabber blabber says Arielle, she has to go and get solme rest which is actually kinda hard to do as so many crazy thoughts about her crazyness and all around ridiculousness are running through her mind right now, so much so that she is talking about herself in the 3rd person, yep that bad. Anyway . . .Love you!! and MIss you! We are in the same state now but still don't miss you any less.
