Surrender to Society

Well, I've reached a large milestone in my life of avoiding conformation to society. It's actually a negative step, I suppose, but nonetheless, a step. I am joining the millions of bloggers. Up to this point I have enjoyed reading friends' blogs, and even experimented a little bit with the "Next Blog" button, but now I have officially started my own blog. I have no promises as to how exciting, inspiring, or whatever it will be. I can only say that I do believe it will live up to its name, "Swakt lbcR". (To those who are unfortunate to be unfamiliar to these words: Keep coming to this blog, and I'll have at least one post in the near future explaining these.)

Anyways, it's true. I now have a blog. So, I would appreciate any comments. If you stop by, please leave me a comment. Tell me you're here, why you're here, what I'm swaking (see above) about my blog, etc.

I have to admit that I, personally, cannot take all of the blame for my surrender to society. Well, technically, I guess I can. But anyways, one of the motives behind making my blog is that I'm having jaw surgery tomorrow, and I figured this would be a good way to keep in touch with the world when I'm way too swollen to make contact with it myself. My dear friend TB (Jessica) actually planted the seed in my brain to start a blog, and I've decided to take her advice. Now, anyone who is interested in my struggles, triumphs, and ponderous ideas (and maybe even a smoothie recipe) can tune into my blog.

Well, I believe that I should now end this maiden post, since I'm leaving for Eugene for surgery tomorrow at 5:30. It may be a few days before I'm sane enough to be coherent on here. Although, I will try to make a post when I'm really drugged up. I think that would be really cool for you to read, plus it will also be really funny for me to see later.

I truly am leaving this post now. I hope that I will make it through this surgery to make a second post on my lovely new blog. On that note I will leave my very first blog posting.

Well I'm looking forward to this. You rock at writing, by the way. You've well surpassed me. Maybe you can give me some pointers. Say... how are you at writing en espaƱol? Oh wait! You WERE Juanetta Jetta. Get well soon. And get up on the Blog posts! Hey, we're all bored too... and we need something to read!
Love, your one and only favorite sister
